Steam unit (smoke) ?
« on: January 03, 2019, 02:11:48 am »

Anyone recommend a smoke unit (Steam) similar to that of the Steam Master Unit as this is no longer available, im trying to find one which has similar functions or at the very least so it gives out more or less steam depending on the speed (connects to ESC)?
Cheers :)

The volume of vapour can be tweaked by having the fan speed controlled by the motor control.  Use a rectifier to avoid sucking in reverse.

aye i looked at his a while back but it says requires 24v but i want it to be 12v max to save using any converters etc.

Thanks for tip, ive messaged this guy regarding this one https://www.modelboatsmoke.com to see if he can fab one up for me as i aint too familiar with electrics so would rather someone who knows what they are doing wire it up for me so i can just drop it in & connect to my ESC like the SMU. If need be though i may have to go down the route & do as you suggest!
