If anyone is interested I've had a message to say there is going to be a Makerspace t hull central library. A small fee gets you access to laser cutters, 3d printers, cbc router etc. Ideal for anyone to have a go without spending on personal kit.

That is great news for Hull
On the same tack, h
ere is another organisation I discovered recently.
https://menssheds.org.uk/
There are 480 of these Mens Sheds in the UK already. The idea started in Australia, and is also in the US and Ireland. They have just established a Menssheds.EU and are also in the Netherlands.
From their Website:
They're community spaces for men to connect, converse and create. The activities are often similar to those of garden sheds, but for groups of men to enjoy together. They help reduce loneliness and isolation, but most importantly, they’re fun.
