Magazines wanted
« on: January 09, 2019, 01:24:39 PM »

I am a recently returned modeller, and having throughly gone through the house and loft, cannot find a single copy of the many magazines I used to have.

So I'd like to ask that if anyone has any clean copies of Model Boats or Marine Modelling International that they no longer want, please could you offer me a chance to buy them from you.

My collection used to go back to about 1973, with some gaps, and was fairly complete for the 80s, 90s and early 2000s.

There were so many memories in those treasured pages, and I really mourn their loss.

Thanks, Dave near Oxford.

Hi Dave,
I can't go back nearly as far as you want, but I have Model Boats from 2014 to the present (less most of 2017 though) and a bunch of MMI from 2017 until they went bust. All the free plans are still there except one (the Alpha RG65 plan, given to a fellow club member).  They are yours for free if you want a trip to the south coast to collect them. Or we could meet half way?  They are on their way to recycling if you don't want them, so just shout if you do and I'll hang on to them for you.

Hi Greg,

Thanks very much -that sounds great, I'll definitely have them! I can meet you somewhere near the coast at a time convenient to yourself - I am free most days of the week.

Many thanks, Dave

Thanks, found the message indicator - it's a bit more subtle than some other forums I belong too! Reply sent.
