When you mention tea bags I think back to an old Dr. Who episode where they have some 1940 English people isoolated off so they were unaware of the time travel bit.  And they were patiently tearing open tea bags and putting the tea into a teapot.

Yep, been in there as well, the place didn't look too well when it was being used, most of the equipment went to the Andover site, outside of the building was a dark brown cladding - yuuck, inside the machinery was yellow and under suspended ceiling tiles that did nothing for keeping the product clean (if a pnuematic pipe shook, dust would fall down).

Good News the Yorkshire teabags are not going to be oil based plastic anymore but plant based plastic , so you will be able to compost them.

Tomorrow evening will be 90hrs T total. It's not been difficult but perhaps a bit boring.

So in the morning I imagine I'll be considering what to have during my window of opportunity Sunday evening.  %%

I'm in a mind to continue this considerable reduction of intake  :-))

Report
Yesterday being Mothering Sunday we shared a bottle of champagne with our very large dinner.
I then followed that with Winter's gold
We were both in bed by 8:30 feeling very tired.
I cannot say I enjoyed the drink  %%

I just had to sit down with palpitations and nausea. I had this last year from over medication so I know it is low PB.

First reading 86:58 highest reading of four 108:70

It would seem that cutting out alcohol three days at a time is going to kill me  %%

Doctor notified and I'm on his emergency call list.

I measured BP this morning before medication to find it only at 110 so skipped the reduced dose that the dr. recommended. I'm playing it by ear now with frequent checks. Having worked all day in the garden my BP was still under 140 so I'll see in the morning what to do.
Only drinking on one day in four has had a major effect.
Today is my 6th day in the past 7 without alcohol  :police:

No booze required in the shopping trolley today  :-))

you’re not alone Andy, I only have a double malt on a Sat or Sun. This is my system since having what you have. It seems to be working. I enjoy it something to look forward to at the weekend. Problem is the umpteen bottles I have in the "bunker". Just had a pressie of a bottle of Ardbeg. look after yourself, nemesis

Not looking into retirement for a long time, but don't think these will be there when I do retire, just need to find the right people to share it with.
BTW Bowmore and Ardbeg is getting expensive and a bit hard to get in Denmark, especially Bowmore Surf  :((

Having monitored BP morning and evening these last 12 days the results are plain to see.
This morning 123/88 so no tablet required. The worst readings that are still acceptable at my age are bordering on 140 and then I took a half dose.

Hi I check mine on a regular basis but I think you need to get the 88 down.  There seems to be a variable including pulse rate that interact together.
You can really reduce it with a walk and then a comfortably warm/hot shower.  The numbers drop down a lot as the arteries and veins open up.
If I do that this morning I will give you a reading!  Already been out and done the week's shopping and back before 9 this morning.

regards
Roy

Stressful day getting the van Mot'd despite less than 1000 miles  >>:-(

Not a good start with a flat battery! Daylight running light relay had gone closed circuit and drained it.

I diverted the solar charge and managed to recover enough for a start up.

Passed the test then went for a full fill of diesel and LPG.

Now finally I'm having a beer......  St Feuillien Saison  O0

Yes I don't get enough physical exercise but that will increase with the better weather and getting away in the van.

Hi Taranis, re walk and shower!

I was 126 / 78 pulse rate 70.  I would normally be a bit under 140 / 75.  but pulse rate 65,  I checked again 5 hours later and much the same numbers.
The Doc once told me that a 20 minute walk every day was the easy way to stay healthy.

When I was on Cyclosporine, my BP was 210/160 average.     Coming off it after viral encephalitis, it stayed up around the 170/120.  They've tried every pill over the years to fix it.

Now I'm on blood thinners, (Clexane injections) it's down to 126/94 - I'm back into the human range!   O0

Hi James my brother nearly reached those numbers once and the doc refused to let him leave until they reduced!  He is so b****y low now we have to prod him to see if he still functions.  As long as there is footy on the box he is happy.

He used to be Chief Engineer on a cargo ship plying the southern seas!!!
Keep going James
