TID Tug Navigation light board
« on: January 14, 2019, 09:29:10 pm »

Hi guys
just a quick one..
Ive almost completed the light boards ive made for my TID (pics soon!) but im not sure on the colour for it, Ive looked up info etc & theres a few different opinions on the colour for it, some say all white, some say red/green as per lamp colour & others say after the year 1974 (or around that time) they were re-painted black!?
Personally im thinking of just doing them the same colour as my wheelhouse planking which is a brown varnish type, thoughts?
Cheers :)

It is quite correct that after the mid 1970s the light boards would have been Matt black, before then they would Always have been Red for port side and Green for Starboard,
