Here we have for sale a model of the Elizabeth Bowater from one of our esteemed members at Runcorn, unfortunately he is downsizing and is looking to sell this model. I would not like to post it but it is available for collection from the Warrington area.

Some info...

ELIZABETH BOWATERThis freighter was purpose built to transport log and wood pulp from North America to the Bowater plant in Liverpool. Each vessel was named after a member of the Bowater family. The original vessel was fitted with a Pleuger Active Rudder (motor fitted to rudder driving three bladed propeller)

Built by Caladon Yard, Dundee in June 1958, Sold to Wimpey Marine in 1972.

The model is 1/96 scale, length 1060mm, beam approx. 350mm.

Rudder servo fitted together with motor and propeller. Needs battery and receiver.

Asking for 300

As above, the asking price is 300, however if any one interested wants to make an offer please PM me and I will pass the offer on.
