Hi Martin, I am doing fine, sorry I havent been on the site for a while, it does mean I have more new interesting stuff to read. I am still into boats (and planes, quads , excavators, tanks and cars!) I was considering a rorqual build but had only a side view. About 20mins after asking on here, I have a copy of the article that I never read which has the plan on it as well. Amazing. I didnt realise that they had published the plan without building the model. Have you seen one? I would like to thank you for your incredible generosity and dedication to the site, its historical preservation as well, most of these models would probably only be seen by a few people, I enjoy seeing other peoples creations, and my own models that I no longer have. My jetski is now living it up in the south of france, my little tug is in the channel islands. I had my fun making and running them, the funds went to other projects (and the wife) and the boats went on to give other people pleasure. I still get to look at them all on here and still have more people see them too. I dont know if you have had time to see my little cars? They have actually turned out to be amazing, even if I do say so myself. I am going to try using the donor car parts in a boat, proportional steering and throttle, 5 speed levels (all proportional) for £15-20. I built a track for the cars and it turns out that the first speed range is perfect for our uses, not quite reaching full speed at end of straight. Average scale speed for a lap is 77mph so they are not slow. The battery lasts over 20 mins of fast racing. Best of all they are home made and I can make a new bodyshell moulding in about 5 seconds (not including preparation and trimming tho.) Anyone got any cheap ice cream tub lids? Again, Many Thanks for the site, its awesome.
