Model Slipway 510
« on: February 15, 2019, 11:03:49 AM »

I am looking for one or two tugs which I believe are Model Slipway 510 they look to be out of production.
We use this type of tug which is quite robust in our kids pond at events our club attend.
The attachment below is the one we have left if anybody has one to sell could you please get in contact.

That is about a third larger.
The model Slipway tug is 510 mm long..hence the name. Also it is plastic not fibreglass as is Marks .

Model Slipway no longer produce the 510 which is a shame.

I'm pretty sure that Lawrie White sold on their big vac-forming machine to the guy who now makes the Club 500 racers. It's possible he may also have the 510 tug moulds. Might be worth a call?

Thank you DM for your suggestion it came up trumps.
Also thanks to TheLongBuild for making the enquiries and for finding that the moulds are still in existence but the company no longer have the vac forming equipment to produce them.
It was a long shot but thanks to Martins Mayhem once again the mystery has been solved. :-))
