Company ships models
« on: March 07, 2019, 01:58:21 pm »

Hello Everyone. This is a shot in the dark, I believe  the model of The Isle of Man Steam Packet vessel Mona' Queen III is due to be moved from Fleetwood back to the packet office in Douglas for display to the public, the actual vessel was sunk at Dunkirk and the anchor is displayed in the south of the Island, The question I would like to ask, if the answer is out there in the public domain, "does any one know the whereabouts of other similar shipyard models of packet ships" I would be very grateful if any of our astute members have any information, I do believe  that when they were built and cased by the ship builder the packet distributed them around various railway stations and such as advertising and information on the fleet.
Mayhem never fails, so I look forward to any replies.
