« on: March 28, 2019, 10:07:57 pm »

Hi
I just received the first mail with the welcome and it was very nice. I just started some days ago asking to know my first rc boat and looks that it is one Northwind 36 to be fix it.
Itīs my first boat.
My firts question is if somebody can recommend me one site to buy the spare parts for the Northwind 36.
Many thanks. I hope to learn many in the forum and one day i can provide support to others
Thanks
C.

Hi
Here's a link to the manual but I think this boat was discontinued years ago so parts probably not available

You might find some useful info on this thread

Like RMH said, the specific parts may no longer be available, but any broken or missing parts needed to make it work can be home made.  Decorative parts are best just left off on a working yacht, they usually just snag lines and make sailing more difficult.
It is a good 36" boat, and, proerly set up, works well.  Comanies like SAILSetc (  http://www.sailsetc2.com/store/ ) sell working parts for a range of yachts inluding 36" ones.
