Overall wash
« on: April 14, 2019, 10:25:39 AM »

Ever had your wife put your overalls in the washing machine without telling you?

Middle of the night before last  the house burglar alarm went off. I could not stop it due to an injury but my wife found her house keys and operated  the alarm stop button. Why the alarm went off we were none the wiser until she opened the washing machine and realised that there was something in one of my overall  pockets. Yes, it was my house keys and alarm fob. They had been on a 30 deg C  synthetics wash cycle
Quick dismantle  of the fob and 20 minutes on top of the storage radiator and a miracle.  When reassemble my alarm system fob still operated!! .
Quite surprised  is the under statement!

It is nice to know that if you were to lock yourself into your washer, even during a cycle, you could set off the alarm to alert your wife. :}
