What glue
« on: July 13, 2019, 02:19:18 pm »

Hi, I am about to start the build of the Krick WSP47 Police Motor Launch but I have never worked with an ABS plastic hull before, so I thought I would ask the experts first. I would appreciate any help as to what glue to use to fix wooden pieces and the prop shaft to the plastic hull.
My initial thought was to rough up the plastic with sandpaper and then to use Araldite.
I would appreciate your thoughts

Good epoxy, modified acrylics and cyanos are the best glues to use. the first two will produce the strongest joints.
