Now glued and I've revised boat carry level to a taper. Fitted ply tray to bottom.

Like the carrier. Where did you buy the fittings, particularly the 4 way ones?

All the fittings were £20.32 delivered from Hendersons. The pipe was £24 from eBay in 6x1.2m lengths

Thanks for the link. Did you use 32mm or 40mm pipe?
Also, what do you think is the maximum weight that this can carry before it starts bending?

Thanks.  I guess the weakest point will be the handle.

A wooden dowel inserted into the top handle
should stiffen it up.

Good idea Ned  :-))
For this particular use it is only 880mm long and is OK

Indeed I’ve just checked and a broom handle will fit with room to spare

Could also fit an axle and wheels at one end

Broom handle is an excellent idea.

Did you use the thick solvent plumbing "glue" to stick it together, or thin MEK?

Two lobster boats seen at Kirklees this morning. My very old model and the new build by taranis. We may have set a trend to build this model.

HI Taranis  the final touch just 30 years of natural weathering. They do look good on the water.
