Hi

Have a look at the T.I.D. tug Facebook page, I do have a set of plans for one that is about 20 inches long if that is any help.

Perhaps have a look on eBay. Someone is selling a 22in tug at the moment which they are saying is a TID but hull looks different to me (no chines). It's part built and looks neat and tidy though.  Comes with fittings. You might want something more exact though I guess.

Hi Martin

They are the ones, would you have the writeup that went with them? if you do would it be possible to have a copy.

An enlarged version of Tiddler was the subject of a build log on the Model Boats magazine website forum a few years ago. Unfortunately the builder didn't show the finished model, or finish the model. The photographs show what a good model this could be.

Or you could do worse than have one of these, they sail well and will tow !

Hi, Tiddler Tug plan and build was a free plan in, Radio Controlled Boat Modeler March/April 1989 by Vic Smeed :-)) :-)) :-))
Just over 20inches long x5 and a bit beam, O0 O0  I have just started last night the build, easy cutting balsa wood for me but I will skin it in thin ply. Tids are easily built, (as they were supposed to be during war time) Great boats to build and sail, I have also built the model plans service tid the one that has the wood pack, not sure if its available any more, you get twice as many frames as you need, as you are supposed to double them up, I doubled up mine using 1/4 balsa, and my mate had the other set of frames for one to. O0 O0, If you want any more info on building or tids mail me
regards
