Lower and raising antenna TAMAR
« on: April 16, 2019, 10:47:00 pm »

I want these antenna on both side of the "main building" to raise and lower. But i haven't a clue of how to do that. Should i bent the mast inside building and connect to a servo.?
Were to place the servo? How have you guys did that? My brain is soon to blow away to the sky.
Hope for some help and tips.

Thanks. I already have looked at these example. I need to see where are servo(s) placed inside. And how are they connected to antenna.
Are antenna glue together inside and 1 servo or 2 servos connected and where, how, and so on.
My brain doesn't fixe that sort of wok of hard thinking. ;-)
Happy easter to you all.

I have seen 2 options that work.
If you have built a cabin interior, seats etc, then use a small servo with it's pivot connected directly to the aerial, opposite handed on each side.
If the cabin interior is empty, join both aerials together with a cross bar, install a crank on the bar and attach a servo to that, similar to a rudder, but on it's side.
Someone was playing with using a sail winch and pulleys, but i never saw that working.
