Hello,
I have just bought a set of plans from NMM for this beautiful tug.
Any help with pictures will be much appreciated.
I'm looking for deck pics mainly, showing any kind of details.
Also, if anyone knows or can confirm these tugs were having wood decks when out of shipyard. The plans did not show any sections, only profile and upper views.

Hi George,

If it's the 1942 tug, there's a lot of the Fleming and Ferguson archive data , including photos and plans, at the University of Glasgow. It may be worth contacting them with the build number for  Nimble (578) just in case.The earlier Saint class rescue tugs had wooden foredecks and steel mains.

Thank you for the info.
The plans are from Glasgow University. I have contacted them after reading your thread about Imara/Perseverance.
Didn't knew they also have pics with the Nimble class.
I'll write them again.

Hi George,

It's only a possibility but they hold a lot of files, so they may have the section drawings that NMM are missing? As far as photos are concerned they may have some but I found these on a Singapore web site so you've possibly got them already.

Thanks for the pics Tony. Yes, i'm having those already.
The staff at Glasgow was very friendly and took half hour of free research for me.They found some GA drawings for this class, but they have also informed that there are 7 more bundles of unlisted plans for this tugs. Looking through the unlisted drawings can take up to two days of work and they charge 50 per hour, so, it's something that i cannot afford.
I was hoping someone is having a picture or infos about the deck planking, if they were wood planked.
When i have build my italian NEREO tug, i was lucky to find pics with the deck.
