Jeanie Johnston
« on: May 25, 2019, 04:15:05 pm »

Hi guys,
The Jeanie Johnston was a famous ship in Ireland and indeed can be visited in Dublin. My problem is this. I want to build a model of her, but cannot find the right plans. The website to the vessel is no help and all searches have failed. I really need a deck plan and side elevation. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

Is this the right ship ?https://jeaniejohnston.ie/ - https://www.amazon.co.uk/Jeanie-Johnston-Voyage-Against-Odds/dp/1412005760/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=9781412005760&linkCode=qs&qid=1558814335&s=books&sr=1-1 - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeanie_Johnston

Might be worthwhile giving them a shout - The ship was laid down in 1998 so the naval architects plans should be archived somewhere. You may have to pay for the copies though.
