Scale sailing at Balne Moor 9th June
« on: May 30, 2019, 02:41:53 pm »

We'll be having a scale sailing competition around the new harbours at Balne Moor on Sunday 9th June.
As always there will be classes for boats large and small so all can compete fairly.

If you prefer you can also have a go at tug towing with one of the club's large tow vessels. Don't worry if you have not got a tug, there will be tugs to borrow.

Bacon sandwiches will be available between 11.30 and 13.00. Hot drink and cakes available all day.

What a smashing day. First time I had seen the new coarse and what a great job the winter work party did.

It was nice to catch up with everyone, and enjoy some sailing. New boat with Voith propulsion plus a new controller resulted in me getting round in a fashion but I enjoyed it and that's the important thing.

Must say thanks to Tess for the bacon baps, and Ivor's wife for the cake.

Looking forward to the next event, if you have not been come along I can promise you a warm welcome.
