Hi Chris, all four Wessex/ Seak Kin fitted in the hangar, otherwise not much point in having it, mind you it was a tight fit {-)   image show how much space a Sea king takes up
Bob

HI Dave yea the hanger is a fair size just measured it an its 13 inches long an nr 10 inches wide but i dont think the got all four seakings in their just three an one standing out on the flight deck an teid down in rough weather but i'll say this the blooming thing is made as light as possible but is stil feels heavy but i do need a fair amount of wheight anyway to get her down in the water

an im thinking of fitting them steel half x half inch counter weights on her keel while i can still turn her upside down easy yes be more weight to lift but if i wait till shes finished an then try an fit it then i'll damage the railind on the main deck an if its not needed then i can easily just unscrew them an remove them but when she finenally goes for her maiden voyage their will be a lot of exspreimenting an ive may have a chap on anther site who wants to see her an he says he will video her an put it on utube as he has an account on it so see what an how she progress through this yr but tonight i loaded up all the batts an all S/S AN GAVE HER A RUN AN IT WENT ALL OK so looking good as at the moment im now wireing in helicopter power wires to go up to the flight deck

an while this paint was drying i thought what else can i do
so i fitted on them keel half inch by half inch steel sqaure rod as these are bolted on  to the keel an if not needed then i can simply unscrew them an remove but i think they will be needed an they look nice an neat so im pleased altough its a bit heavyier now to lift but should keep her stable on the wet stuff  :-))

Hi again Chris, that's a pretty good idea of how to achieve those deck markings and thanks for putting the writing next to the copper tape - it makes it much easier to see how you're dealing with the different voltages for the helo lights and motors - it's all making sense to me now.
Great work  :-))

HI Ray glad you like the deck marking i was just glad i dint get the shakes as this seems to happen to me when im trying to hard an i can feel the ole ticker goin like the clappers so had a rest to calm down an listen to some sixties music an then done that copper foil tape for the seaking just got to hope i can build it as its a weak kit so will have to strengen it
an glad it makes sence to you so im not wasteing my time an thanks for looking in

an side view an these seaking kits are very weak kits to fit in the gold eletric pickup pins as they are sprung loaded so a tight fit so i will have to strenghten the choppers outer undercart so they dont just snap off when pushing the eletric pins into the flightdeck gold sockets to give power to the lights an motors

An i was not happy with these montrics vipers ESC so i have taken them out an replaced them with  these two eletronize ESC  an now the motors run lovely an i can also make it to cut power to the back motors by R/C an run on economy  power just two props hopefully but if them two props are not powerfull enough then i can easily switch back to four props goin

Chris, instead of those chunk large pins why not use small diamet brass tube and rod, much tider and easy to concela.  Just a thought.

HI Bob regards the gold pick up pins i think the pic makes them look a lot bigger than they realy are as they are only 3 mm at their widest point an ive used these before an they work great hope you both are as well as can be
