AN here a shot of the A/BELT on the HULL JOINT an I think it looks about right Bob from lookin at your pictures an guys please exscuse the messy carpet as we have got a pure white cat called snowball an as fast as jen hovers up snowball is hellbent on messin it up again with her hairs >>:-(

HI Bob well ive just laid the armour belt on the hull dead where it should go regards the hull joint does it look about right ? as this is how it shows on my plans
an im now goin to take the a/belt out into shed to sand the edges of it to 45/degress this  is the starboard side

HI Bob well now I got your blessing on the armour belt  {-) :-)) I can carry on with the build  but seriously you know a lot more about the ship than I do an you sayin it looks ok   means a lot to me as it means to me that im heading in the right direction .But im soon goona have to go off scale for a while as I want to fit a bow thruster in her I know the real ship dint have one but needs must as this big hull ig gonna catch the wind

HI GUYS
another small update
an still tryin to fit the armour  belt  on her an its provein very tricky here ive taped it all down to the hull to see if it will pull tight into the hull contours without leavein gaps

Lookin at the top of the a/belt an you can see how much its got to be forced down onto the hull to glue about  half an inch not good but hopefully it will pull in
