Hi Chris,

Hope you and yours are doing well and surviving COVID. Yes - I'm getting some modelling done. I'm currently working on a 96th scale USS ARIZONA, a 24th scale BPB Co. 71' 6" MTB (RCN) and a 16th scale Sherman Firefly Mk Ic (Hybrid), using Tamiya's kit as a starting point (with lots of after-market for the conversion). All are for R/C. I'm also working on Airfix's new 48th scale Spitfire Mk I, and recently completed Tamiya's 1990's kit of the Spitfire Mk I, so - keeping busy modelling-wise.

Stay safe.

Cheers,

Chris

Hi Chris,

Haven't made enough progress on the ARIZONA to post photos, and in any event, I still have to figure out how to transfer the photos from my computer to this site (and I don't have a 12 year old IT specialist at home to help with that). So............once I 've made some progress on both I'll be posting photos.

Hope you're doing well.

Cheers,

Chris

I was always taught not to use newspaper in contact with the painted surface below because the ink can bleed through but fair enough -it looks grand!

I tend to do a lot of building at the weekends, then ponder what i have achieved during the week, then adapt, redo or accept the following weekend
