Cheers Chris
looks like there will be a world shortage of cogs and gears by time you are done, along with the rack and pinion for CVA antennae operation that I have used.

At long last we are now allowed back to sailing, been to long, but no car for at least another week  :((

Bob

HI AGAIN Bob  yes i think there will be a shortage   %) ;) but its fun tryin to get things goin on these models is'nt it an yes i know its not the correct mountin  for these radars but its the best that i can do in this scale an hope your anntenna works ok

Re: the antennae, if you look at the latest CVA video on here you will see them in action, rack and pinion working all three in time with each other.

car is brakes will not bleed, only been three months, now trying to fix it, but a lot of that time is due to the virus, seems the abs unit is shot, hopefully back this week.

sailing, I can only talk for my club in Gloucester.. one site is still closed, the docks you can sail on our normal day which is Saturday, with no pre booking, as long as social distance is kept, very easy to do there.  Our other site is by booking a slot on sailing days, our portacabin is closed so food and drink and chairs have to be brought, limited numbers and social distancing.  Not perfect but better than nothing.

Oh, I have car troubles. I think the starter motor is failing and possibly the battery or alternator is likewise.

Mind you, the alternator has experienced five years of periodic flooding on our country lanes so I would not be surprised if this was an issue.

Chris
In answer to your question on the large pipes alongside tiger class, it seems they are uptake/down takes and also incorporate emergency vents.
Hat to wait for answers from the guys.

I suppose give her original laying down date, she still had a lot of old tech in her. Wat with those radar arrays, that will be a brilliant mast set up. All that mesh!
