HI Dave i will only put this keel wheight on if she needs it as this size of hull is like my nimitz carrier an i made up these keel wheights an she sailed ok an dint need it but tiger is so much different due to the fact that she has some big an fairly heavy S/S on her an for the wind to catch so this keel is a just in case job but i always like to think ahead as it easyily just bolts on so no problem an as its right under the hull an wont be seen  :-))

HI Bob oh cheers for them pics of tiger is this that admirillty model ? as it looks fantastic if mine comes up half as good as this i will be well pleased but at the moment im still stuck on my motors problem as ive got 3 motors running ok but for some reason no.3 motor was a bit stiff turning so i too all the motors out an regeased all 4 prop shafts an they turn quite easy an not stiff

an they seem ok so put it all back  in an that no. 3 motor was still stiff so  i dissconected  it from the BECC ESC  an wired it up to my 40 meg esc an usin the 40meg T/X let it on its own just run at about quarter throutle  to see if it needed to be run in  an after about 15 mins  it started to smoke so i stopped it quick an disscneoted the batt leads an took the motor out an yes it was burning out

So i oreded two more new motors an when they came i fitted a new motor in an ran all four motor on the BECC system  an i thuoght great im gettin somewhere but after a few mins that no' 3 motor was gettin very warm but yet all the other motors were hardly warm so ive taken out the motor an the motor mounts just in case its not lined up properly  SO today i'll try an find out why that no'3 motor is gettin hot an try fittin in a coolin fan on it when ive fitted new mounts in

Chris
Nope just a home made model ike ours.  You know that freq has not affect on the esc as they only do what they re told by the rx.  It seems odd that one motor is burning up.  Wish I was nearer.  Did you try the seperate battery pack for the rx?

Chris,

Sorry to hear your still having issues, it’s strange that motor 3 is alway the motor that’s giving issue. Keep with it , your get there. As Rob said sorry I’m not closer to help.

YEA Dave that the probs is distance isnt it an yes i cant understand why that new motor is gettin hot  either while the other three are hardly warm after running a while  as ive never had this problem on all my builds but ive never had this BECC system before either but i dont think its that is the problem or all the motors would get hot crazy aint it but will stick at it untill i solve it will try fitting a cooling fan derectly onto the motor an see if that helps

Chris, what happens if you relocate the number 3 hot motor to one of the other motor location. Does the number 3 motor in the new location get or is the motor in to the number 3 location getting hot ????

Chris,

I know what you mean, just take your time and make one change at a time, this will help you to see the trees not the forest. Best of luck  :-))
