Chris,

I got it from Barry at SIRMAR, which was returned to them, and the price was adjusted for that. (I was very pleased with there GRE hull) The damage was so minor  and the reason for the Swedish customer rejection of the hull, was just a bit of damage to the jell coat and any modeller could have repaired it. Anyway my luck, the cost back in 2011 was £135.

Be aware Chris the drawings for Clyde that are now sold by Trinity have sky rocketed in cost.
Fleetscale hull is a 1/96 scale and they don’t do a 1/48 scale version.

Chris,

Thats what I did, Jecobin 1/96-1/48 plans are now supplied by Trinity, I assume Fleetscale 1/96 plans are Jecobin (but F/S hull is of the Batch 1 shaped hulls) that again are now from Trinity. But talk to Jason at Fleetscale, he will be able to say if there plan is there own or is a Jecobin plan.

WELL Dave thats if i do build this ship as gettin old now an by the time i finish tiger i may be to old or infirm to build again but if im ok then i will do how i did on tigers plans  contact jecobin -trinty an ask them to blow up the 1/96 plans to 1/48yth scale for me yes exspensive but this modeling lark is getting very costly but if you want to build the model then its PAY PAY is'nt it or pack up altogether only other option an i dont want to do that

Totally agree about Trinity, they are beyond a joke, Jecobin may not be the most accurate at time but at least they were affordable.  It now makes NMM plans cheap :)

Computers eh Chris?  :(( <*<

You can't live without them, you can't live with them!

I am leased to see that your eye ops were successful and that work has begun again on the Tiger with more lovely wiring. I reckon she'll have more wiring than the real thing  :}

I do hope that you can get more images of your brilliant ship as the work is brilliant and I for one would miss seeing the progress. BUT, high blood pressure and recovering eyes don't mix, so don't get poorly stressing over the problem.
