but the hinge would not go all the way back only about 60% but at least the tail rotars are out of the way an should not get broken

MANY THANKS an yes im hopeing to get this seaking all working but as you say its so tiny an fragile got to be carefull how i handle it as it will break easy an to day ive got to wire up all the lights an then after that to try an fit it all togeather but the kit is a bad fit so see how we go on that

HI Nige WELL i cant do a vid im afraid but ive gent freind who lives in the next countiey called suffolk an who is on another forum has told me that he want to see tiger sail an seaking goin an he says he has an account with utube so he says he will come an video it all goin  when she's saling but my main problem will be gettin the ship up the pond without breaking it as my car is a tubo sports injection an bein a sports its got a hard suppenshion on it so i feel every bump in the rd an british rds are terribele so she may have probs by the time i get her to the pond as its over 20 miles trip to the pond an lots of bumpind about so im gonna fit cushions jens best but she dont know it yet lol to see if that helps keep tiger in a goin condition but this will be in about 2 yrs time as there is still a heck of a lot to do on tiger but thank you for your nice comment an lookin in on the build

Thinking about your hard ride issues for Tiger, If you sit the hull on a medium grade of foam then it should take the worst of the jolts creating a softer ride. Perhaps sitting the hull halves on foam blocks rather than the common lining of thin rubber gasket or insulation strip on our wooden cradles?

HI Bob yes if they work ok then great stuff as its the same scale as my nimitz as that was 1/144  an i went over to see Paul hiat over the wkend as he invited us over to see his tiger that he is converting into a gun cruiser an he's doin very nice work indeed should be a cracker of a model when he has finished it an mine is still at least 2yrs to go before she takes a dip lol

That is a disappointing fit for a Dragon kit. Was it an early release do you think? I recall early ones were a little less exact fitting, but that is gaping  %%  Still, you worked your magic on it and she's coming along fine :o)
