CHEERS Ray yes i love fittin on crew figures as i think it brings the model to life as ive seen several bueaitfull models in shows but without crew they just to me look dead an yes i know in rough wheather all the crew would be inside the ship but mine are sailing in good wheather so they can be out on deck doin ship chorses lol :-))

AN hi Dave hope you are feelin better after your accident an will follow your new build on here an yes they may all be seasick if she sinks lol but seriously im not very confident that she will sail ok as that top wheight on  her has got out of controll an even with her counter balance wheights on her hull bottom im worryied  that she may not behave very well as she is gettin heavy just as well she is nearly finished but im goin to do some stabillty tests on her when i get to the pond as cant do them in her test tank as she cant sail like on the pond as when she is movin an inertia takes over she could roll over like i see up norwich pond a chap put his lovely big destroyer model on the water an he sailed it out to the middle of the pond an took a starboard turn an it just rolled over an sank with just the bow stickin out of the water so that just one of my main worryies on the big day  but wll see what happens  <:( :embarrassed:  an if the worst happens then i will be  >>:-(

Hi Chris,

I’m getting there but its very slow, I’ll probably not be able to start on my HMS Belfast build until the end of May.

We also had our Scale section Captan did the same when he sailed his new Fletcher class destroyer it sunk the first time it was sent out, he end up having a local divers in to retrieve it three weeks later.

May be worth attaching some strong safety lines the hull via the counter balance weights so if does do the worst happens , then you can retrieve it.

HI again Dave glad you are gettin better after your accident an come the end of  may will be lookin forward to your new build  an regards the captin of your scale section an Fletcher class destroyer it sunk the first time it was sent out, he end up with divers gettin it back three weeks later  WOW should think i was rotten bein in the water that long an dint the chap do any stabillity tests on his model before he set her lose ? an regards my tiger  i will be doin them tests before i let her lose as there is a lot of monyies worth goin sailin there an  no point in fittin a safety line to tiger as if she sinks she will be to heavy filled with water to pull in so only way i could get it back is go in after it as both ponds i sail at are congrete an only 3 ft deep so i would have to strip her down under water to her componet parts an do a bit at a time to get her back
