1/12 scale figures
« on: June 09, 2019, 10:15:51 AM »

Hi, I'm looking for a 1/12 scale naval figure for my Deans Marine motor boat. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
I've searched and searched but getting nowhere.
Thanks.

Ive used 6 inch tall Doctor Who action figures, mainly the one of David Tennant wearing a suit which was suitably modified to look like a naval uniform.

I agree and I'm looking for 1:12 figures too so I may well go down the Dr Who figure as well...
I'm all for figures in boats to give a sense of realism, though my last crew were a bit suspect....  :embarrassed:

LoL only thing wrong with that is Grommit would be driving, and you need some cups of tea and Wensleydale on crackers on a hared and white tea towel ha ha. Style of that boat is so bang on for Wallace and grommit though, they don't look out of place to me! Nicely done!

Actually Gromit lets Wallace have the odd drive but then all hell breaks loose, The Cruise-O-Matic is seriously fast with a water cooled 600 motor....  :embarrassed:    Oh and the picnic basket is on board complete with red and white tablecloth and tea making facilities, the chaps go nowhere without them...  :-))
