Humidiifer wire
« on: June 15, 2019, 08:29:48 pm »

I bought a humidifier with the intention of putting it into a boat but the connector was for a usb socket.
When I cut the socket off I thought it would be like telephone wire all separate wires.
It is actually 2 wires twisted together but they must have an insulating covering on the wire.
Does anybody know how I can remove the coating so it will take solder.

Try scraping it off with a scalp, or grip it between a sheet of fine abrasive paper and  pull  it one way only  , it looks like the fine head phone wire I had to re solder , it worked ok for me .
