Hi Ian

If you’re referring to the big gun monitor it’s my new acquisition from a fellow club member. It’s HMS Marshall Soult circa 1918. She didn’t sail as I lent my rx to Ron Kingdon so he could sail his G3 battlecruiser as his decided it didn’t work.

There was a model of HMS Abercrombie for sale in Model Boats for a couple of months, what a time for Monitors! I fancied it for a while but wanted to conserve cash for my holibobs.

I hope you get to sail her next year, I want to see how well she sails with that hull form!!

It sails very well with independent twin props.
