NEW PROPS FOR TANK DAYS.
« on: June 24, 2019, 01:51:42 pm »

Some recent pictures of some new props for our K.M.B.C home and away events.

A basic centre town river section for the bridges to go over, just board, scrap wood, paint etc. There is other sections to make.

I also remade the knocked out Tiger, this is a metal lower hull, new top hull, only the turret is the original as this takes the sound unit for background battle sounds.

The lower hull can now take a incense cone and will smoke away through the grilles and hatches to give the impression of it still smouldering away. This was the easiest option, I was going to use a smoke unit and just power it via a battery pack however, if it is forgot about it will run dry and burn out-keep it simple. There is also a suspended aluminium plate attached to the underside of the top hull to stop the plastic from getting too warm.

My models are not nice, clean and ship-shape. They be mucky, grubby, rusty and smelly.

There are HVAC smoke bombs that produce a sizeable amount of smoke - say for the start of the event, swap say for a normal incense cone for later / longevity
