Jim Pottinger plan --Grand Banks cabin cruiser
« on: June 28, 2019, 12:41:35 pm »

I've heard that Jim Pottinger  drew up a plan for a  GB cabin cruiser  'though I've no idea what it looks like or its scale, and have been unable to locate anything relevant via Google.
If affirmative, would anyone have either a spare plan or would be willing to run off a copy for me. Needless to say all costs would be reimbursed.

Please  send PM if able to be of assistance.

I have this set of lines for it. The unreduced copy would make a model almost 1.8m long. I can email them to you if you want them. I can also reduce them to any size you want before I do.

What do you mean 1:1 is not a model?

Hi Antipodean,

Many thanks for your kind offer but Colin Bishop has given me a UK sourced supplier of a  plan  which will suit me perfectly.

I used the Jim Pottinger plan, slightly enlarged, to build my GB. It's a great plan and a lovely model.
