It's too hot here to do anything. outdoor thermometer is showing 34º in the shade . Step out into the sun and you can smell something frying.

That certainly hit the spot, but it's even hotter now (40.7°). I wonder if it will work again......... 8)

It's exponential Dave, you need one twice the size. It may then be cooler when you wake up...Colin

I hope it cools down soon! We are having to wear desert overalls at Brize at the moment due to the heat, doesn’t help with the concrete reflecting the light and heat.  It’s like I’m back in Akrotiri but not being paid for it! %%

What? The workshop or the G&T? I thought about a third G&T but decided that would look bad.....so I bought a bottle of chilled Rose while I was in the shop for our dinner!
Incidentally, what do folk favour to eat in this hot weather? I was planning a lasagne but I ended up making tomato, mozzarella and basil sandwiches on toasted ciabatta bread. It's just too damned hot to stand over a hob.The chilled rosie went down a treat.  O0

We just had a 3 egg mushroom omelette with mixed salad with red hot relish, along with a dollop of Paul Newmans salad dressing. Surprisingly filling - lovely!
