Plans on offer
« on: July 16, 2019, 10:07:35 am »

I’m reducing my stock of plans which I have saved over the years from editions of Model Boats and Marine Modeller magazines; some of these plans also have the articles that accompanied them in the magazines. The condition of each varies as shown in the table.
I am offering them to good homes (one per household) at no charge, all I ask is that you put a couple of quid in a charity box.
These are offered on a first come first served basis. I will despatch these when I can but bear with me as I can only get to a Post Office once a week.
Leave me a private message stating which plan you would like and your delivery address. I will inform you if you are successful or not in acquiring the plan.

SS Escondido arrived today - thank you.

Donation to charity as requested.

The plan is 1997 and it is amazing to be reminded how much magazines have changed in that time. They have gone from article with picture illustration to pictures with explanation.

I think because camera quality has improved and become more affordable in recent years. A picture is worth a thousand words (I believe the saying goes) and I’m guessing a better description of the model was required as picture size and quality were not what they are today. Today the exact opposite is required as you can see a lot more with the new cameras. My picture quality changed half way through my first article series when I bought a new camera.

Thank you to for all those donations, its good to see some some good coming from the plans rather than going into to the recycling bin.
