Thanks Ian,
Will look at your solution, but may not work as I don’t have much room, as I’ve added so much detailing inside.

Thanks for your interest in this and Your ideas. Keep them Coming Please , it’s alway good to bounce ideas around.

I have an idea as a solution - but currently building a sudo lori / murphy bed for the eldest, so cannot do any work on a prototype, the issue is the hinges between the doors, there are dolls house hinges and they would need fetling to the 8 mm, looking forward to your solution.

Hi Chris,
I still have a lot to do still.

As regard the depth markings, good question I’ve been trying to find out why as well, all the Arleigh Burke’s seem to have this.

HI Dave your fittings look great i wish i could do this idea as i have quite a few fittins that i will have to make for tiger but only small ones like fairleads an bollards an such i have looked at the fleetscale web site  but i cannot see them so i will proberly have to try an make them myself but your ship is also comin on great as i really like your helo idea an your details in your bridge an i hope you dont mind if i may copy them for my tiger bridge  as she has got fairly big windows an the detail will be easy to see but if you do mind me copyin tell me an i will do my own ideas

HI Dave many thanks for the link to the magnets  :-))  but im not goin to make it like yours where the helo is towed in an out of the hanger as 1. im not that good a modderler to be able to manage this an plus i want my seaking helo on the deck running up with both rotors goin as ive already got the motors to do this what you have done makin the helo pull in an out of the hanger is way beyond my skills im afraid but its brilliant idea an very nice to see working  :-))
an ive already bought my magnets but these are just to hold down the decks placements  so there is access to the hull but the your idea i wanted to copy on your ship was your bridge layout as i think this was brilliant but im goin to add some tiny led's flashin in the bridge to bring it to life if  you know what i mean but your ship is goin to be a show model when its done

That’s fine Chris, I’ll drop in to the package next week a couple of bridge control consoles that may help you.

Your modelling skills are fine, we are all learning to increase our skills. I enjoy pushing my skills and try to improve them as I go.

Must be a modellers curse, I also looking at what Ive made, but only see the faults.

Look at when you get the shakes that its away of your body saying take a brake and come back to it later. :-))

The Fleetscale link is above still, so you just click on it, it will take you to there site.

Made up the two anchor stocks today. May look at trying to take a mould off one, just to see if I can with the all fine detailing.

AN again hi Dave any chance of some more full pics of her  all round so i can see your present state of your build as i like to study the pics of her as i nearly went for one of these ships to build when i see them in the film BATTLESHIP  an i thought the ships at flank speed looked fantastic  an i will have to rewatch that film again as i enjoyed it so much but i must admit it upset me to see those lovely ships cut in half an yes i know its only a film but still got to me
