WELL Dave i sent for 400 of them from fleetscale an i have yet to fit them in the future

HI Again Dave soon i will be fitting in my tiger that power dristuibushion board an you said that it need a switch fitted on on or it will not work so why a switch
? as i dont intend to use it to switch it on an off so cant i just jion it up into a circut so the power board will work ? :-))

I use the switch to power the model on/ Off as there is no power drain throw the dust board.

OH I SEE Dave so that switch cotrolls the whole power board includeing the  6v ubec unit to power the R/X so as ive done away with my becc system on my motors an the power board will be from a seperate batt can i still use this 6v ubec unit to power my R/X ?

HI Dave yes i am usein 12v but i will fit a 12v down to 6 v voltage reducer unit to power the R/X  so no worries  :-))

HI Dave its lookin good an as you say another step to the finish an yes i was pleased at how the painting is comin on on tiger an at the moment im fitting bridge lights 2mm an would you beleive it fitted 3X 2mm white leds in bothe bridges an im now just treid out the top bridge lights an only two work one of the little blighters wont go but i dont give up easy an ive now found the main live wire was broken in side the plastic core so refitted the wire an solered it again an now all three lights work ok  but theres always one isnt there

Well gents, at last found some time and the interest in attacking the hanger doors.


So for this TEST method,


I first made a jig so I could keep the milled section all the same. Pic 1


Next milled slots both sides and backs so the hing can be recessed. pic 2


By using some sail cloth for the hinges and glueing in the slots.


I milled slots in the end of each panels so the slid rod can be glued.Pic6


Just know have to work out how the R/C this.  %) %) %) %)

HI Dave the bridge lights im still workin on today an it will be done soon but i want to make sure it looks good an not like there is a disco lights in the bridge if so i''l paint them over with clear smoke tamiya paint to dull down the lights an ive used them consoles you made me an they look quite good but when in the bridge i dont know untill its all fitted in an wired up AN YOUR HANGAR door looks very good hope you get it to work ok  :-))

How about a linear actuator, and a bit of elastic to maintain tension across the door sections?

Another option, running a piece of threaded studding up the inside of one channel and attaching the top and bottom panels to it.
