Thanks Chris, your build has come a long way and it’s looking very good. I’ve not read all the post as yet, may take a few days.

Whilst we had the warm weather took the opportunity to paint he hull, just need to put on the the depth markings, pendant numbers I’ll do this once the paint has had time to harden fully.

For the Bow and stern pendant numbers I’ll be using scale-warships paint mask’s. The small stern one Will be fun!

Top work! I love the bandstands, they are fun to scratch build, but these look great with the effect of the dodgers well defined.

Lovely progress  :-))

Cast off the Scot a domes, also put some bridge detailing in before the roof is put on. Now I’ve done this it will be time to cleanup and prepare the forward superstructure for painting.

Thanks Chris, the lights will be switched via a eight way switch unit. The plan is to have white lights and red lights switchable in the following areas Hanger,Bridge and some superstructure areas.
Must say your Tiger is coming along, will be nice to see it on the water once she complete.

Over the last few days I’ve also attempted to make a fittings kit for the Phalanx, this is what I’ve done to date.

The radar dome is made from 10mm plastic tube filled with good old Isopon, then this was machined down to a 9mm OD and rounded off the dome head.
Next was to make the sides, I did think about making the base and sides all in one peace. But decided too make the side first the make the base plate, these were made up to one base unit that could be cast in one.
The area below the radar dome is were the Gatling gun working are. This was made in four parts.

I still need the make the Gatling gun and the Amon feed rails and the base plate jacking mounts.

Ooh, I like a Gatling gun  :-)  That is a nice looking kit and one that has loads of potential in the model warship market. It must be installed on numerous nation's larger warships and over a number of classes as well.
