Slow going still, and yet another small fitting to be tackled, the two R.A.S posts. In order to make a casting this part has to be made in several sections. This is the first section.

They're looking good Dave, the rivet details are showing up better in paint O0 - nice bit of casting that is  :-)

The list of fittings still to be made is getting shorter but it’s still a long list.

Built and installed the gang way today

Every time I look at this model. I think god there still so much to do, will it ever end. I’m also trying not to look at my next project until this one is finished.

Ah yes, that makes sense. Explains why you haven't followed your usual method of multi-part castings  :-))

Thanks Dave.

This is the same method I used on my 1/48:HMS Clyde flight deck landing lights, it works well.

How’s your current build going ?

I am not up to much at the moment. I hope to next year once one or two other projects have been completed. The Destroyer is almost done, and the small monitor isn't too far from completion. Thanks for asking.

Thanks Chris,

I’m now looking at the RIBs and torpedo tubes as I’ve still not got enough info to build the Bushmaster guns.

Is it the same model as used on the R.A.N. Armidale class? if so, I have a few photos.
