Stan's - Amati Grand Banks build
« on: August 05, 2019, 10:04:07 pm »

Hopefully this will be the start of my build thread for the above model. Major construction will not start before we enter the winter period. It is very obvious that new materials will have to be used to reduce top weight this will mean many of the parts in the kit will not be used. The first pictures show the build board that will be used to construct the main section of the superstructure. More information will follow when the build starts.

That's a good solid board you've put together Stan and with plenty of space to get your hands underneath  :-))

Hi Ray I will be fitting some studs this will allow me to clamp down the base of the superstructure during construction.

Mind you I think you need to put your glasses on mate as it would seem that you drilled a few holes for the rudder before you found the right place  {-)

Just a few pictures showing cables fitted to the fuse holders  and the plastic tray made to fit the R/X equipment.

Stan. :-)) :-)) :-)) :-)) :-)) :-))

Technical info
20 amp b/less motors.
30 amp E S C. 15 amp controllers would not meet  the motor needs
18 Amp cable.
Two 15 amp fuses protect all the above.
