Thank you all for your comments. Today I have been flitting about like a butterfly working on the windshield frame work and the cabin interiors  sanding sealing the cabin sides ready for the white primer. Also spent some time on the web looking more 1/24 scale items for this model more to follow later this week.

Morning Stan

Still trying to get the picture of you '...flitting about like a butterfly...' out of my head...   {:-{

Anyway, hope you've got the heater running in the shed, maybe had a tidy and found your enthusiasm.  :-))

Looking forward to next installment of the build.
Best regards
David.

HI Guys just a selection of items I have been working on. I hope to fit the inner cabin side with very small screws and the outer cabin side with  magnets this will give full access to to the internals of the cabin.

Loads of fiddly bits being worked on there Stan.  O0
Like the way you've tackled those louvred vents - always tricky to get those things right but you seem to have found a way.  :-))

The fly bridge is finally painted had a few problems yesterday. Now waiting for the paint to dry I will then mask of the windshield supports and spray with a metal finish. Last picture shows the fly bridge wheel mounting was going to be a problem simple answer a M2 brass bolt  just solder over the slot nice dome finish.

HI Guys today's updates I have been masking of the windshield supports ready for spraying with a metal finish paint. The flybridge hand rails have taken back to bare metal not happy with the finish. Tomorrow I will be spaying a test piece with a new chrome paint pictures to follow. I enclosed some pictures showing the masking required to paint the supports.

HI Further update  from the shed. Yesterday i sprayed the windshield supports polished aluminium not a good idea it looked awful. This morning they received a coat of matt white now happy with the finish. Also today magnets fitted under the seats  this will allow them to be removed to allow the fly bridge to be removed. I have started to make a sun lounger from plastic strip  and the table  both for the fly bridge.

Hi Stan, great work as usual. It's a good even light across the panel amazing for just 1 2 mm led.
I have often thought of getting a led tester but never got around to it.

Crikey Stan, that is wonderful work! You remind me of a chap at my local club who builds super detailed models like this with gadgets and details. He fitted a working telly (LCD screen and mini MP3 player or similar) and a radar screen with mini LCD)

Keep that top quality work up mate  :-))

Re metallic finishes. You have probably heard of Alclad already, but their system is first rate with microscopic pigment size and super shiny chrome. They do a whole range of metal finishes. http://alclad2.com/
