Well i am now back in the saddle. Just out of interest the scale of this model is 1/20.  After looking round on the net i found some 1/24 scale figures but to my shock they measure 3in high far to big. If they are two big then 1/20 scale figures will be like the jolly green giant.m Right some picture from today showing fly bridge and some of the cabin interiors.

Further pictures showing a navigation lamp and the final L E D and wiring fitted in the cabin roof. Both the mast head lights and navigation lamps  will be connected with small connectors.Further pictures of the connector blocks used to connect power to all the light functions. In my thread on on L E D it was mentioned about using vero board  so i have enclosed as picture showing this I must admit I am not very keen on this method.

The figures at 1:24 should be around 3" which is 6ft x 1/2inch = 3". The 1:20 figures would be a bit bigger.

Hi thank you for reply. But if you read the start of my last post I did mention the height of a 1/24  scale figure and a 1/20 scale figure.

Stan

Just make sure you do a poor job on the decorating so at least you won't get asked to do it again... Works for me.

Best regards
David.

Managed to do a little today during the high temperatures. The wiring under the deck is now complete and marked up to correspond with the quad switch. A further 2 way switch will work outputs 5 and 6. I also marked  blocks S and C spare and common or minus terminal.

Hey Stan, are those orange and clear things fuse holders? If so, that is the safest electrical system I have seen on a model boat  :-))

Hi those plastic things are cable connectors used by electricians. No more terminal blocks for me. The ones in the pictures are all going to supply LED lighting. They are made by Wago Germany 221 series.

Finally today I managed to do some more work. First picture shows a sun lounger made from evergreen Plastic this will be placed on the fly bridge. The next challenge is to make all the cabin side removable this will be done using rare earth magnets. A few pictures showing the first magnets  fitted to inner cabin wall. Last picture show figures in the fly bridge these will be replaced with figures from Fujimi which i ordered today.

Just a few pictures from  from this evening.  The first inner cabin side in now in place held in place with magnets. You can now see how the outer cabin wall will be sat over the inner wall.  Final pictures looking inside the lower deck with the inner wall fitted and what the sun lounger will look like on the fly bridge. Forgot one picture showing parts for the dinghy
