Well today I managed to get in a few hours in the garage. I have marked the locations the windows on the rear bulkhead cut them out and lined with ply. Further pictures show the superstructure clamped to the bench this makes working on this location very easy and finally a very untidy work area.

I am now working on the seating for the upper deck area the timber for the deck planking has now arrived along with the light teak stain. Sadly my teak veneer was lost by the courier I am now waiting for a replacement which may not arrive until next week. Pictures this evening show the plastic card sub roof  trial fitted. The marked lines will determine the location of the cabin lights. Having this sub roof will give space for the wiring and resistors for various lights.

HI Guys just a few pictures showing the curved seat made from plastic card. The sub roof is now painted  just the frames to pick out in brown. It can then be installed and the lighting can be fitted first picture showing the  teak veneer fitted to a roof support.

That's really neat work on those resistors Stan, have you set them in epoxy or some other glue?

Well now most of the lights are finished  we have to start to kit out the cabin area. The 3mm ply part have been glued together and over lined with 0.8 ply which will be stained light teak. I have to say I have built  many models over the years but I am disappointed with this model but onwards and upwards.

HI everyone this morning I tried to stain one part of the furniture not happy with the results. With the stain option not giving good results I have laminated some items with the teak veneer and so far so good pictures to follow.

HI all no I not left the planet just totally ****** off  with this build. I have now decided to make most of the furniture from plastic card  covered with teak veneer.

This morning I decided to take the bull by the horns and scrap all the furniture made from 3 mm ply with exception off the bench seat. I have now started to make the furniture parts from 1mm plastic card covered in 0.6 teak veneer. The mahogany instrument panel will be made from 3 pieces of teak to blend in with the rest of the woodwork. The first table is now complete just a few shots of this. Please note the table is not fitted on the rear deck.

Stan. :(( :(( :(( :(( :(( :((  A long way to go on this build no thumbs ups for a long time
