Just a few pictures showing the final layout of the tables may tweak them a little more. Last group of pictures during a ballast test done in the bath  looking good so far. The pencil lines shows the position of the water on the hull both at the stern and bow. Most of the heavy work is now finished on the cabin area. No doubt I will scrap most of the timbers used on the hull  and use plastic card instead. I need to change my camera  sorry if some of the shots are not clear

Just two pictures showing the mast cable been inserted to duct to the fly bridge and last picture mast fitted to fly bridge deck.  A word of caution for any future builder the base of the mast needs to be larger this will give a better gluing area.

Today a disaster while in the garage a large lock fell of the shelf straight into the hull. This bent a rudder arm and all the push rods are bent beyond repair.

All my models are built in the garage. I tend to have purge and tidy after new models are completed. I was banned from building models in the house years ago due a super glue incident.

Hi Stan, It sounds like the rudder linkages saved the hull, and you will repair as new.

Looks like my build is sympathising with you Stan, whilst installing the magnets for the flybridge I noticed that the plastic control arms at the top of the rudder tubes have split where they bolt on to the rudder posts.  The ones I used are actually from the Riva motorising kit so that’ll be another Amati component in the bin.  I’ll either buy or fashion new new ones from aluminium, at least I noticed before the boat failed on a pond.

I should be able to post pictures of the cabin and flybridge wiring layout tomorrow with magnets installed.

Hi just a few pictures showing dinghy build so far. Construction is from 3/4 balsa dowel 1/8 balsa sheet  and 1mm ply the dinghy will be covered with f/g tissue and resin later. Last picture filler on rear roof  to get rid of damage to plastic sheet.

Today I checked the damage after the the big lock fell from a great height on to the rudder linkages. I am please to say the only damage was to the push rods and tiller arms. The servo and rudder tubes are fine just need to refit the tiller arms and new push rods.

Just a few pictures from this morning showing the glazed front windshield. Other pictures show the etch frets to make the wipers  these need to made painted and glued in place then the completed unit can be glued in place. You may notice my etch bending tool not the cheapest but well worth it.
