Work on this build has slowed due to maintenance on other models. Just at few pictures showing the chrome paint on the stern light and hawser points. Be aware if you intend to use this only finish with acrylic varnish final picture show the lettering for the boats name.

What a lovely afternoon. I think not running a file down all the recesses to get out the sanding sealer but the end result will be worth it.

That’s brave Stan but it will make the planks look individual and improve their appearance

Hi all now in the final stages of filling between the planks what a long and laborious job. Just three pictures showing the filler applied between the planks and how it looks after sanding prior to primer been applied.

Well the hull is now in the paint shop. Just a few pictures showing the hull bottom in a blue finish. I hope to have all the hull finished next week.

Hopefully by Wednesday the outer hull will be air brushed and the boot topping lines applied on Friday varnished on Sunday.

The sun is shining no rain today and it is quite warm so the hull is masked off and the white top colour has been applied. The hull will now stand until Friday this will allow the paint to harden before applying the boot topping.

The boot topping is now applied just a few spots that need touching in with a brush. Next job apply the varnish top coats then fix all the deck fittings.. Just a few pictures showing the overhaul look of the hull so far. No Longer a big white whale
