Model Slipway Maggie M
« on: August 06, 2019, 02:17:13 pm »

I'll build this eventually but for now, what's in the box!

I visited today and a wonderful lady treated me and the wife to a tour. What a marvellously organised affair she commands  O0

So here without unpacking every fitting is what you get. The fittings are superb quality I must say and I've never been especially impressed with white metal until now.

Quite a hefty manual

The fittings well packaged

A heavy pack of several styrene sheets

Plans and long thin stuff  {-)

Lovely hull

Having seen all the lovely built examples I'm sorely tempted to buy something else too

I've just "won" an eBay auction for an unbuilt Maggie M kit.  Should be here by the middle of next week.

I hope you get around to starting it soon, and document the build on here. I think I'll be needing some help/inspiration with the build.

Hi Andy,
have lots of fun building the Maggie M. I just reserved one from "modelslipway's" new October batch.

Yes I had to order too Wilhelm but not in a rush as I don't have time to build her until next year. Very much looking forwards to it and still thinking of ordering Our Lass II too as well also ditto  {-)

P.S. thank you Martin for the HTML tags  :-))

I've now sold this kit unstarted today so unfortunately the thread won't ever get any further.
A consequence of buying too many models and having too many unfinished. I hope the new owner enjoys her.
