Very nice job on your build.   These old J boats are the most graceful boats on the water.

We actually have 12 of these in my club and have regular race meetings every Sunday in the summer months

Hi 'cdn'

Thanks for the comment. I don't sail anywhere near as much as I used to but we were out at the last open day at the Norwich pond. My wife sailed it virtually all day in steadily making conditions with not a drop of water inside at the end. It really is a great model all round. Alan certainly has done a fine job on these boats for sure.

Sounds like your club has a passion for them Tony - must look great when they're all on the water. Unfortunately we only have one other at Norwich

Regards - Ramon

Truly  great build, motivational  to a beginner.    The hull lines of the olde J class.....   sleek, slender & yet curvy  in the right places....   a girl l once knew.
