sounds like the 1/24 hull. think it was metcalfe mouldings who produced it. battlecrafts do the fittings if it is.

Hi Stan,

Coincidentally I have also been given a similar sized E boat hull, which I believe is by Metcalf Mouldings. The model has not been started and the bare hull is still in its box in our loft at the moment.  However I was lucky enough to get a plan with it, not a brilliant one but not bad,  and I was also given a whole bunch of reference books.   I am not likely to start on the model for a while yet, although I am hoping it will be sometime this coming winter.
If you would like to meet up somewhere and have a look at what we have you would be most welcome.  I could probably get the plan copied and you could borrow some of the reference books for a while if you wish. We are busy for the next couple of weekends but we could probably come over to Wilton Park for your open day in September.  Alternatively if you want to come over to see us sometime you would be most welcome.

Regards
Gareth

Metcalf or abco produced the hull at first, them Martin's Models bought the mould then passed on to Models by Design who I think passed on to Waverley Models.
Precision Control did produce a complete fittings kit.
Precision Control are now Battlecrafts.

Hi Stan, are you looking to build/complete the model or sell it?  If the latter, there is an ad in the latest Model Boats looking for one:

"German S-Boat part built or in need of TLC  call 01902 4922731"

Bob,

Last time i called models by design
they had sold off quite a few moulds to mountfleet models,
Incl the E boat/S boat

Also Christian at MTB Hulls Gibraltar
Had a listing for a hull.
And if anyone is interested there is the latter S100
Superstructure available on shapeways.

The hull given to me came in a box with a Metcalf Mouldings label.  The drawing is by Martins Models of Holyhead and is a 1:24 scale drawing titled S80.

Yup S80 as opposed to Italeri's S100
