Protean Design

Not a moment too soon... For many months I've been looking for larger premises to cope with demand and bring in machinery which has been in storage. Finally, Protean has moved into a proper business unit and I got my house back!
So, to all friends & customers past, present and future, these are your new contact details for Protean Design & Prop Shop from Aug 2019:

I can still be reached by the old phone no. / address, so fear not, but this will be my new 'man cave' in daylight hours. Where I go at night is a secret. The new workshop will also have a retail counter, so visitors are welcome. (Please ring ahead to ensure someone will be on hand to help). We are right next to Moreton-in-Marsh Station, ideal if you fancy a day out by train, with exploration of Moreton, Batsford Arboretum etc for those not of a model boat persuasion.
Traffic in Moreton at certain times is a shocker, so I recommend to avoid coming by car on Tuesday (market day) or early to mid afternoon. See you there!

Well I'm not sure about texting him, I don't want to pester him, as long as I know they are open and posting orders that's good enough for me. Honestly he won't mind during business hours. He replied within 5 mins followed by Dan that I messages on Facebook  :-))


Some might say why not ring? To me a text does not interfere with what he might be on with and he can reply at leisure when he has a breather

Just look at the forum section TUGS LiFEBOATS etc etc and start a new topic in whatever it fits. Don't worry if you get it wrong as the management will fix it  {-)

Yesterday the propellers for my Graupner HMS Hood arrived and yesterday afternoon I put them on her, wow they are superb. have really made the model look the part here's some pics  :-)  Steve.
