Looks like a nice model, and I do love big models.  What motor(s) do you use?

Hi. As I didn't want it to be under powered I went slightly over the top with two Turnigy AquaStar T20 3T 730KV/1280KV. The problem started when I needed speed controllers. Several different sizes I managed to use hobby king 120 esc.

I've had the pleasure of seeing this in the flesh, and it is very impressive both on the bank and on the water. Makes most of the other models around looks a bit toy like, though!

After the last time I saw this, I bought a Sea Queen kit! I was planning to buy a 46" Crash Tender, but the Sea Queen was on the shelf in Howes….

Derek is correct, after the war most Air Sea Rescue launches were redesignated RTTLs due to combined roles that these boats had to do post WW2.

Fantastic model by the way, I have a 1/12 Walton 65ft ASRL, 1/12 GP Pinnace Mk2, 1/12 Armoured Target Boat, and 1/12 Thornycroft 62ft Fast Motor Boat. All powered by car heater motors because they were built over 15 years ago! I know how big these are in 1/12 and are very impressive.
Keep up the good work! :-))
