Question of the day
« on: September 27, 2019, 11:15:12 am »

Can anyone tell me why they sell EMR plastic weld in tall slim bottles instead of short fat ones ?  Thats the second time I have clipped the top of one and spilt it all over the bench , Even quickly mopping it up still does the sinus's in.

Drill a suitable sized hole in a block of wood and stand the bottle in it or tape two or three bottles together.  Either will make it all more stable.

a tall slim bottle exposes a smaller surface area to atmosphere, so releases less volatiles than a short fat bottle.

With my cynical sceptical hat on, the tall, slim, unstable bottle leads rapidly to more sales.
Same reason that potato peelers were coloured to match the peelings.

Put the bottle in an empty cup...less likely to fall over then..
