Capt Podge:
Ok, thanks for that Charlie, makes perfect sense and your forward planning should pave the way for another good looking model, both on and off the water  :-))

Regards,
Ray.

Charlie:
Bit more done, starting to see the Hull shape now

derekwarner:
Charlie.......another Member Andy experienced a vibration issue with the aluminium spiral shaft couplings as supplied in the kits for the Ocean Works jet drive units for his project....may be worth reading for future reference

Charlie:
Hi Derek, thanks for the info. I have been following Andy's Shannon build, so was aware of this issue.

This is how far i got over the weekend. The Bow area is taking shape; the first skins have been attached to the step in the hull profile, and i have started on the Stern Overhang. The reason for the horizontal cuts in the frames is now evident.

Charlie:
The stern has been finished off, and all of the frames were then sanded down and faired in. It was then time to fit the first section of skin, which is a piece of 0.8mm Ply.
